Sawyers Creek Farm
To provide our community a healthy alternative to the industrial food system while raising awareness about animal husbandry and environmental stewardship.
There is a relationship between soil health, plant health, animal health, and our health so we strive to support it by mimicking nature and utilizing holistic planned grazing developed by the Savory Institute.
To foster an environmentally conscience community engaged with each other and with regenerative and resilient agriculture.
"Good farmers, who take seriously their duties as stewards of Creation and of their land's inheritors, contribute to the welfare of society in more ways than society usually acknowledges, or even knows. These farmers produce valuable goods, of course; but they also conserve soil, they conserve water, they conserve wildlife, they conserve open space, they conserve scenery." -Wendell Berry
